施力仁長期以犀牛為創作主題。本系列延續他過往對文明的探討，將《金鋼犀牛》原有的強悍，轉化為更輕盈且貼近生活的風格。藝術家並非單純追求外表的「萌」，而是在維持雕塑精準結構的同時，讓作品散發出親切的溫度。
在《卡漫犀牛》四部曲裡，《向前邁進》象徵旅程的起步。作品舉起雙臂、大步跨出，這份動感不僅停留在外表，更直接傳達出內在的開創能量，展現探索未知世界的決心。
Stepping Forward belongs to Shih Li-Jen’s Rhino Pop Series, a body of work that transforms the forceful, civilizational language of King Kong Rhino into a lighter and more approachable sculptural vocabulary. What changes is not the seriousness of the work, but the mode through which that seriousness is delivered.
Among the four works in the series, Stepping Forward stands for the beginning of life’s journey. With arms lifted and feet set in motion, the sculpture embodies confidence, courage, and the willingness to move toward what has not yet been reached.
起點之光：
從腳下展開的未來視野
犀牛腳踏雲彩，讓形體擺脫重力的限制，增加乘風前行的動態感。雲彩成為支撐意志的基座，讓「前行」帶有飛揚的節奏，也讓空間充滿希望的暖意。
The cloud motif beneath the figure does more than support the sculpture physically. It introduces a sense of uplift and blessing, allowing the forward movement to feel not only directional, but aspirational.
形體律動：姿態、平衡與綻放
《向前邁進》將抽象的生命意志具體化。藝術家收起猛烈的爆發力，改以堅定、充滿能量的方式向外擴張，讓作品兼具親和力與嚴謹的結構。
施力仁捨棄複雜的敘事，單純透過舒展的四肢、大方的步伐與堅毅的神情，讓雕塑成為純粹的精神縮影。
The strength of Stepping Forward lies in its ability to materialize a psychological state. It is neither aggressive nor theatrical. Instead, it opens itself with clarity and assurance, retaining warmth without sacrificing sculptural integrity.
